DepthLogic Breakfast Lab
EST. 2019

Precision mornings start here.

We are DepthLogic Breakfast Lab — a research-driven studio devoted to the science of the first meal. Every recipe, course, and tool is engineered for repeatable excellence.

Our Story

DepthLogic Breakfast Lab was founded in San Francisco by two former biochemists who discovered that most breakfast research lacked rigorous measurement. What began as weekend experiments on egg protein denaturation evolved into a full laboratory curriculum used by professional chefs and home cooks alike.

Today our archives contain over 1,400 controlled trials and our methods are cited in culinary science publications across three continents.

01
First pilot program
46 participants, 17 quantified recipes, zero failure rate on consistency.
02
Global expansion
Courses now available in 14 cities with 11,000+ alumni graduates.

Mission & Methodology

Measure first, cook second

Every technique is validated under controlled conditions. Temperature curves, Maillard timing, and protein structure are documented before a single student begins.

Clinical reproducibility

Our courses are designed so any cook can achieve the same result within a 3% variance window. Every lesson includes instrumentation recommendations.

Transparent data

We publish raw experimental data and peer-reviewed notes alongside every published recipe. No black boxes.

The Team

Clinical minds behind the lab.
